91±¬ÁÏ Tier 2 Canada Research Chair (CRC) Special Call
Dear 91±¬ÁÏ faculty:
I am writing to announce a call for an 91±¬ÁÏ Tier 2 CRC nominee for nomination to CRC in fall 2024. Tier 2 Chairs are for exceptional emerging researchers, acknowledged by their peers as having the potential to lead in their field. Applicants must be full-time tenure-stream Assistant or Associate Professors at 91±¬ÁÏ. The nominee’s research area must align with the of Social Sciences & Humanities Research Council (SSHRC).
This special call is limited to 91±¬ÁÏ faculty members who are members of visible minorities and/or Indigenous peoples (First Nations, Inuk, and Métis), as defined by the . The identification of outstanding candidates from these designated groups supports the University’s institutional capacity to fulfill the objectives of the University’s  .
The nominee will be chosen from among eligible 91±¬ÁÏ applicants by an internal selection committee chaired by Acting Associate Dean, Research, International & Innovation Michal Perlman and comprised of 91±¬ÁÏ faculty members from across 91±¬ÁÏ’s four departments.
