Higher Education graduates receive Ontario Graduate Policy Research Challenge awards
Higher Education graduates from 91±¬ÁÏ, Julieta Grieco and Christine Arnold, were each awarded by the Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities (MTCU) for their insightful research through the Ontario Graduate Policy Research Challenge (OGPRC).
Julieta Grieco’s policy brief provided recommendations for the Ontario government on how to be successful in recruiting international students through targeting participants of government-sponsored international scholarship programs.
Christine Arnold’s research explores ways of enhancing Ontario’s transfer policies and its impact on student pathways across both the college and university sectors.
Both Julieta and Christine presented their research to the Minister of the MTCU and a ceremony was held to recognize their individual efforts. The OGPRC targets high-quality graduate student research that is relevant to areas of post-secondary education, training and labour markets of Ontario.
