This is a web enabled improvement to the course outline template. Rather than manually introducing changes to policy information and other static text, these fields will be automatically updated whenever a new version of the outline is created.

Rather than sharing files, this system creates a web link to your outline you can share with students, which requires a log-in for them to access. Whenever you update the outline, the web content will update as well, rather than having to send out new documents.

This system will also allow students to get a better idea of courses before they enrol, thus increasing course availability by reducing ‘course shopping’.

No, though this system is designed to offer many advantages over editing and distributing files manually. The existing optional Microsoft Word version of the course outline template will also remain available.
