Indigenous Resurgence and Transforming Education Conference

This conference aims to foster dialogue on the integration of Indigenous knowledge and perspectives in education, emphasizing Indigenous priorities that include land-based education, the use of digital technologies, and the broader themes of Indigenous resurgence, reconciliation, and Indigenization.
The conference goals are:
- to generate dialogue, including global perspectives, around the challenges and opportunities within the themes.
- to explore opportunities for future partnerships, including grant applications, and the ongoing solidification of the international research consortium of teacher education.
The sessions and workshops on Day 1 (Monday, August 26, 2024) discuss Indigenous resurgence, reconciliation and Indigenization in research and teacher education.
The sessions and workshops on Day 2 (Tuesday, August 27, 2024) discuss land-based education.
